Do I actually need a new battery?
Some signs are clear, others are easy to misread:
- iPhone. Settings, Battery, Battery Health. Under 80 percent capacity means the battery is worn. If it says “Service Recommended”, that is the phone telling you directly.
- Android. There is no official health reading on most models, but a phone that drops ten percent while you read one article, or dies at 20 or 30 percent, is telling you the same thing.
- Laptop. On a MacBook, About This Mac, System Report, Power shows the cycle count and condition. A machine that only runs on the charger needs a battery, not a new laptop.
- Swelling. A lifting back cover, a screen coming loose or a trackpad that clicks oddly means the battery is swollen. Stop using the device and come in soon; this is the one case that is genuinely urgent.

What you get
For iPhone we fit official Apple batteries, so the battery health reading keeps working as it should. For other brands we use high grade cells that we have tested ourselves. Your data stays on the device, we never ask for your passcode, and afterwards we test charging, runtime and temperature before you take it home. The old battery is recycled through the proper channels.

How long does a battery last?
Two to three years of daily use is normal, or roughly 500 full charge cycles. After that the capacity drops noticeably.
Will I lose my data?
No. Everything stays on your device and we never ask for your passcode.
My battery is swollen. Is that dangerous?
Treat it seriously. Stop charging the device, do not press on it and bring it in soon. A swollen battery can damage the screen and the housing, and in rare cases it is a fire risk.
Does a new battery fix my slow phone?
Often yes on an iPhone. When battery health drops, iOS slows the processor to prevent shutdowns. A new battery removes that limit and the phone feels quick again.
Do I need an appointment?
